Joyful Holidays

 

The holidays are a great way to celebrate and take a family’s mind off of all the stress that comes along with the holidays, but it often takes the community to provide the means to celebrate.

 

In 2013, Joyful Hearts coordinated efforts to provide Christmas gifts to more than 100 individuals. Your family, office, community group or sports team can MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Here are three ways to help for the Holiday Season:

1. Make Easter Baskets

 

•candy (NO nuts)

•toys

•crafts

•art supplies

•bubbles

and whatever else makes a GREAT Easter basket!

 

2. Gather a Joy Bucket or Basket

 

To show much needed love to families, caregivers and group homes of kids/adults with special needs during sickness and birthday celebrations.

•snacks

•games

•toys

and other supplies

 

3. Adopot a Family/Individual for Christmas Gifts

 

Choose to adopt a family or individual and buy gifts from their wishlist or allow them to shop with a gift card donation. Donations of new toys and games will also be delivered to local group homes.
